World Harmony Chorus is an East Bay community chorus that sings World Music.

Our repertoire includes South African freedom songs, wildly ornamented Corsican paghjellas, hauntingly beautiful Eastern European kolos, spicy Latin rhythms, and little known traditional songs from diverse cultures. The music is rhythmic, fascinating, and fun to sing

Daniel Steinberg founded World Harmony Chorus in 1999. He arranges a stunning repertoire for the Oakland and Mountain View branches of World Harmony Chorus. Daniel is among the Bay Area's top World Music choral arrangers. He directs WHC in Mountain View; Betsy Blakeslee directs WHC in Oakland.

There are no auditions, and no music-reading skills are required. There are solo opportunities for experienced singers. Betsy makes singers at all levels feel welcome. World Harmony Chorus performs several times a semester.
